Faith-based crisis intervention and Critical Incident Stress Management for agencies and individuals suffering from the impact of stress and trauma. Don't suffer alone! We can help! We offer crisis support, general counseling and chaplain services. Affordable for those who need it! No one denied on ability to pay.
Crisis Intervention Services are services offered, preferably immediately after exposure to a crisis or critical incident event, that help a client process what has occurred, know what to expect in the coming days, weeks and months, and enable the client to successfully navigate the stress-related symptoms post-event in order to alleviate and prevent post traumatic stress.
Crisis Intervention is performed by trained peer volunteers. Peer volunteers are people who have similar experiences as the client(s). For example, professionals involved in a critical event, such as a fire-scene with a line-of-duty death, will be handled by peer support volunteers experienced in fire-fighting services or other emergency services and whom the client can relate to during intervention.
Anyone can receive crisis intervention! Crises do not just happen to professional emergency workers. We provide services to professionals and civilians dealing with any form of crisis or traumatic event, from the death of a coworker, loss of a family member, natural disaster, major emergency incident or any other traumatic event that causes or may cause a stress reaction in a person. These services are available for groups or individuals.
Crisis Intervention is provided at no cost to the client(s). For ongoing services beyond the standard crisis intervention, services may fall into the category of general counseling for which a low fee is assessed per session.
We do not report to anyone your need or request for services through us. All services are offered with full confidentiality. The only time that this may be waived is in the event a client expresses a desire to hurt him or herself or others.
We offer most types of general counseling that one would receive from any licensed therapist. This could include treatment for depression, for example, or marriage or couples counseling.
Due to the all-encompassing duties of clergy, Arizona does not license Pastoral Counselors. Our Counselor is a professional Pastor trained and experienced in pastoral counseling and mental health therapy. Our Counselor treats Christian and non-Christians alike, utilizing standard modalities as well as Biblical principals for mental health. This is not an attempt to convert or attempt to alter a person's faith, but to provide help to those who need and cannot otherwise afford help.
General counseling services are provided generally for a fee of $50.00 per 1 hour session. For those unable to afford this fee, prices may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis in order to ensure help gets to those who need it.
We make every effort to keep counseling fees low and affordable in order to serve people with or without insurance. For this reason, we do not bill insurance for the help we provide.
